Just re-installed EOD and am playing again- I think I had forgotten what an awesome mod this is!

Never ceases to amaze me that EoD has not only a strong cult following, which was what I'd hoped for, but that new players find this little spot and become apart of the EoD family. Every time I think it's a dead mod someone new brings it back to life.

Myself and Mak were learning to mod while making EoD and it was a steep curve, I'm just happy it's stood the test of time.

Hey, just found this mod and decided to try it. Getting a strange problem though. I have it downloaded and installed but when I try to run it I get the first screen that a crash with the error message:

Script Error in data/descr_building_battle.txt, at line 50, column 9.

Any idea what could be causing this and potential fixes?

Sounds like an install issue. I can only really suggest DL'ing the mod again and re installing.

I haven´t done more that dip into it a little so far, but I have to say... WOW! Interesting premise, good Dark Ages feel, diverse factions.

And it looks very professional, too. Definitely not "just a mod".

Unfortunately I have the German verison of Rome and BI, so half the texts in the game are English, the other half German - but I can live with that.

It's under 200meg so shouldn't take more than half an hour. Maybe you just had a bed connection at that time, that happens to me once in a while..

Perhaps its because of MEGAUPLOAD. They download slower for people who don't pay.

1 question, I took "The Hell Mouth" (mausoleum of halicinarsus), so now isn't my FL supposed to get antichrist trait?

Edit-WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!???!!! I JUST REALISED THERE'S A SEQUEL! I dl'd the older version without ever seeing EOD 2! Now I'm gonna check that out aswell......
