I think just Extended will do fine..
However liked LOTR ones very much, so much that I hoped it was even longer the movie itself.

Yes like that, the extended edition was good but the new liited edition is just plain exploitation of the nutters who have to see every single documentary lol

Oh I didn't knew it was a new set out. Just looked it up, doesn't seem to be so much new really.

Hmm Well after two really bad versions I'm really skeptical about this one. I'm still a little sore from their exclusion of the siege of Tyre which was perhaps Big Al's greatest achievement, and the Oracle at Siwa can't forget that.
Ah well, as long as I get more of Roxana nudeness I'll be happy with this version perhaps.

Well, that ain't gonna happen..
The biggest thing that troubled me in this movie was that the dialogue sucks. It's useless. And I'm not really interested about his mom-dad relationships or his boyfriends either. And they skipped the interesting parts: "And then Alexander conquered Egypt and became a farao" etc... Yeah..
I don't think 40 minutes can save this, really.

Film makers today are too worried about making a statement than making damn movie. It seemed to me that Oliver Stone, instead of trying to actually make a movie depicting Alexander's life, tried to add in as much homosexuality and useless drama as he could. Alexander's life wasn't about homosexuality and family drama. At least, not in a historical sense. It was about making a new world, winning brilliant military victories, and Alexander's ambition to conquer the world.
