No idea why you are putting html into your post. I am sure by now that this movie has enough publicity since it is based off a Frank Miller graphic novel which is loosely based off a historical event.

Either way get rid of the damn html and just link us or use the proper tags for a message board. Since this is a message board and not a place to insert html into the source file of the web page....or whatever people call it nowadays.

I saw a trailer for that movie, it looks crappy. It looks like its as un-historical as it gets really, its one of these "one quarter history, three fourths fantasy" deals.

Bleh, I think I even saw a dragon flying around in the trailer.

I doubt the goal of the movie makers was to be absolutely historicaly accurate. I think they were more trying to create a fantasy version of ancient greece pitted against ancient persia with it's neverending empire... if you know what I mean.

Well yes gaidin youre right, no dragon. But there might as well have been, the look of this movie is highly stylized and exaggerated. The theme IS fantasy over reality. The people move like in house of flying daggers or hero...and while I know these movies can be good, I also know only a minority of them actually are.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you on that one. It's hard to find a good movie with the matrix style stunts anymore. It takes a great director to indulge our senses with stuff like that anymore... you can't just make the movie look good, it has to be good. IMO

Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

The farmer that betrayed them in the comic had to be the most disfigured being I have ever seen. Ever. Ogre.
