Custom skins at request - Raven´s Skin Thread

If you want some personal custom skins for you medieval II, tell me.
I make skins for everyone who asks - though if there are too many requests it could take a while.
The skinning is fully free.
So all of you who want their personal Med II skins, post in this thread.
BUT: Please only serious requests with some pictures as material or at least a completed idea
And please notice: I cannot change models, only retexturing requests.

I have wanted the skin of a colonial rifleman for a while now, the way I see it is that the only thing stopping M2TW from going into the colonial period, other than the name is the lack of rifled muskets, I can mod the game to improve the accurracy, distance and power of the musket but I need a more Colonial/Imperial skin. To be more exact, one with a uniform, circa 1700-1850. I would be very greatful and I imagine a great many others would be too.

i know that it is qiet of work, but could you do a reskinning of all spanish unit towards a Aragon faction style. The base would be the flag coulors and symbols on it shown in my signature !

i have a request i would like, could it be possible for you to reskin the byzantines to have the colour of silver (dominant) and black (secondary) reminicant of the old seleucid colour scheme from rtw plus give the byzantine Infantry and guard a more classical greek feel, mainly a plumed corinthian helmed hoplite style if at all possible?

dont suppose you know someone who can make units for factions as of yet? I'm intrested in getting somekind of phalanx styled unit for the byzantines. I plan on doing a every special byzantine AAR, you know?

I am happy to say that I actually can do your byzantine reskinning.
But I am doing the spain reskinning for MunichRules and the norman soldier for metalguy (without a good helmet, I hate that we can´t alter models yet )
But I will work on it. Probably in turns: One Spain unit, one byzantine unit and that all the way
Coz I own RTW too, I can look into what the byzantine need to get more classical greek. But as said above, I can´t change models, so I can´t give them other helmets and stuff.

When I finish the byzantine skins I will probably upload them on a file-site, so everybody can download them in the downloads section. But they will be finished about end of next week, maybe a little late, so be patient.

Do you think you could make a Crusader unit to look like this? I envision them as a medium-to-heavy cavalry.

One of the things that intrigues me about them is the varying style of helmets. There are the conical helms worn by most, the classical crusader knight helmets that have the mask, and then some even wear the bowl-shaped helmet worn by crossbowmen in game. Could you implement all three helmets in one unit?

I was just wondering if possible for Knights Templar for england i was thinking about giving them ago in campaign


i don't really like the original knights templar there graphics is alright but id like something like the one above because im much more familiar with it, though I am m not sure how much variation there would be with that skin. No rush but if you wanted to do it seems you will get alot out of this thred

I would love to make some templar knights, But I will check if Burrek changed them already first - Burrek is the best skinner around, so I won´t need to do them if he has made some. But if not - I will work on them. I need to finish that byzantinium and spanish retexturing first, though. So please be patient, skinning takes time, but I finish things I start - as you can see in this thread

This is kinda a small request. Would be great if you could manage it. My favourite faction are the Turks and my favourite unit the dismounted Siphai Lancers, i think they look great with full armour upgrades. The only thing that annoys me about these units (as well as mounted siphas and ottoman infantry) is their brightly coloured yellow and green shields. Do you think you could make new shields with more of a metallic look?
