Go to http://lordz.thelordz.co.uk/index.php?id=37,0,0,1,0,0, read the instructions and download both the Waterloo install and the Austria patch, and install them in that order.

Hi there, you can aquire winrar as a free trial version in order to install NTW2. You can always delete it if you do not use the program once you have unrar'ed it.

If you need more help, please come ot our forums and we'll sort you out.

NTW2 was “released to the public” after the Austrian patch was completed. This means that anyone who has the inkling can modify the NTW2 mod. However, it can also create some confusion (as much as it can allow for creativity to flow and spread) especially for those who do not play as much as the regulars in the MP scene. There is hope yet! One patch has taken hold of the majority of the NTW2 playing community, that is the Community Patch 2. In order for you to play in many NTW2 games, it is required for compatibility reasons.

Community Patch 2.0 is not an official Lordz patch or update. It is made by community members for the community using fixes, patches, additions, and some experimentation to enhance the MP playing experience.

Installation is as follows:

-Make sure that your copy of NTW2 is updated with the official Lordz Patches.
1) Full install Waterloo version 2.6.
2) Austrian Patch 2.7

-Next, update to the Community Patch 2.0. It can be located here: http://forum.thelordz.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=8375 There are instructions to the install in this thread as well as the download link. The file is compressed into a rar file and will need winrar to extract, like the official NTW2 patches.

On the main menu screen, up in the top left corner is the version number. Currently, it should read 2.7 and Community Patch 2.0 for MP gaming.
