    Default A Germanic AAR

As it seems to be that the rest of the week in school will be canceled, I have decided to start up a German AAR, and I will be playing at M/M/. I'll try to take as many in-battle screenshots as I can (whenever there's a battle g, and I will also take pictures of how my Germanic empire progresses throughout the years. Updates are random, but will tie in with the whole development.
    Campaign Rules
Never accept alliances or trade rights.
    No bribing armies.
    Never accept being a protectorate.
Once a war is started, there are no ceasefires. Only death to a faction.

Now, without further ado, the campaign:

A small faction we may be, but fierce nonetheless! But our towns, they are left open wide and undefended! It's just common sense to build a wall around them, is it not? But, unfortunately, the army must come first and a meeting hall will be constructed in Teutoburgum, with not enough money left to build a wall in Rugium, but no matter. It shall be built this winter, along with the start of our first army! Those rebels aren't tough at all, they are foolish sheep being led by a sheep! They shall be cut down easily, and we can steal all of ther riches from their settlement!

    UPDATE:

Behold! Our first army is finished, and ready to combat the rebel scum! The army is led by Vannius, who, although her has no tasted battle, he shall meet it, and in great ferocity!

    UPDATE 2:

Victory! The rebel scum are beaten! They would rather disappear into the woods than face us again!

Well, I didn't really liked how I started out (The way I wrote it), so I'll just revert back to how I did it in the Roman AAR.

I haven't done as much expanding as I wanted, but I'm, right now, in quite a good position.
I am currently at war with both the Free People and Gaul. I attacked the Free People first, the Gauls attacked me.
Most of the Free People armies are small, but they usually combine with eachother to create a giant stack that they think can knock me down. They are greatly mistaken. They are easily taken down, and usually do an all-man rout before they can be completely destroyed.
The Gauls are the biggest nuisance. When one stack goes down, two appears in its place. Fortunately, I have Samarobriva and London, so retraining is simple. I also have 4 stacks with me helping to attack the Gauls.

Every once in a while, the Roman AI just plays plain stupid, ignores the Epirot threat, and then it's 'lights out' for Rome.

I was starting to get highly annoyed that Gaul could make so many armies in such a little time. Then it hit me: it wasn't that they were recreating armies, it was that I would always, after every battle, go back to a settlement to retrain, giving extra time for the Gaelic armies to retrain easily! So, I rounded up 4 full stacks, ceased all construction (since I was running low on money and I needed to make stacks) and did a great blitzkrieg, with no time to retrain any armies unless I wanted to give Gaul some time to react, which I didn't. So, before Gaul could start something, I had captured 4 settlements and had besieged another 3 before Gaul started sending up stacks, and even then there were not too many, since beforehand I had made many of Gaul's stacks tiny pests, with all at least losing 85% of their original armies, and all just started to retrain. Almost of the stacks were down south, since, I guess, they were preparing for an Iberian invasion. 5 years later, the Gauls were destroyed.
I decided to attack Iberia, so I can control most of the west half of Europe. They were relatively weak, since they just recently kicked Carthage off. I hypothesize that they will be gone within the next few years.
Right after taking Patavium (and before that Mediolandum) the Epirotes, also just recently pushing of a faction (Romans) they eyed me with suspicion and decided to attack me. I think another blitzkrieg is in order. This time it will be more difficult, because they have 4 or 5 stacks in Roma, and don't feel like going out with a fight. Let's see how long it takes, eh?

I'm really sorry for such a great delay and for what I'm about to say: maybe. I'm kinda annoyed that I can't make a whole new folder for RS and play it whilst having other mods; but, since it's spring break, I can reinstall RTW and have some more updates if I can get enough support.

You're one of a few who've asked for this, and I'm sorry. There is one person writing the code for this mod...me. It is a time consuming effort, and I just plain have no time to figure out how to make RS work with a mod switch other than with BI, with which it works fine. At some point when we have RS where we want it, perhaps I can investigate.

Don't be sorry. You've done wonders with this mod, and if it takes you a while to learn how to make RS work with the mod switch then it's perfectly fine.

Random question...what does AAR stand for?
