I just got this mod and let me tell you, I love it! It is definately one of my favs and has earned a place in my sig. Great job TTW team.

After playing the mod for a couple of hours I noticed that Sparta's better units wern't actualy better. Their stats were lower yet they cost more and had a higher upkeep. I'm wondering if this was done on purpose or not so any feedback would help.

But are u going to make new architecture? Buildings from Rome or Barbarian Invasion looks a bit odd.
I've noticed that archers are too effective. Each unit kills about 200 or 300 enemis per battle. I think that's wrong. I've reduced their attack for 2 points but that did't really helped. Can u recomend something?

It happens when then fight against men with only leather armour or no armour at all. Heavy units with bronze shields will loose few when hit from the front.

One little question about the hero's is there any chance of making them bigger?

Hero's are supposed to stand out from normal soldiers, there like Demi Gods

Just got to say this mod is amazing... i love how theres not alot of big factions with like 10 provinces and all ground units (not alot of calv) also archers rule for troy, i played a few custom battles... had all my Phylakes Apollonioi and Trojan archers, commander and chariots, anyways... the enemy (Athens) got some ladders onto the wall and had 1 unit of amazon looking women soldiers on the wall, so i got my archers to fire at em and they were dead in less then 30 seconds...(there was like 30 of the amazon unit) also i then sent up my commander to fight another unit that was up there, they were something like... something like the Phylakes Apollonioi... my Commander unit... Phylakes, threw there spear/javelins twice and they were slaughtered, the enemy army routed (thanks to archers) and I won.


Also another custom battle with all my Phylake Apollonioi units and Commander vs all of some Athens unit. Battle lasted less than 5 minutes because my units threw spears and they were slaughtered .

To sum up.... THIS MOD RULES!!!!!!

You need to explain what troubles you are having in trying to get the game to work and what you have done to the install (what you installed it over etc). Otherwise, we're all wasting your and our time.

Somehow it does not work for me. I've installed everything as described, but I'mnot even getting to the Main Screen. My game crashes on the loading screen which leads to the main screen. Any Idea ??

Could it probably be that I'm playin the german version of this game ? Do i need to install it in english ??

M2TW big mods are still in diapers, so I went back to RTW, found your mod, fell in love with it, etc. I was going over the Illiad again by the time, so it fit right into the picture.
For the record: there's still interest in this mod, please keep up the good work and keep patching it as much as it's necessary.
Just one thing: I chose Ithaca, selected Odysseus to check his traits and I see "legendary hero". "OK" I think, "if his isn't who is"; but the description says something like "...like horatius, this man is blah blah... regarded as eneas reborn, and even new romulus" This kicks my liver. Eneas is still alive, dammit. Would it be too much to ask to change the description in a future version? Other than that for now, the mod is great and it's destroying my career.
