If you use firefox then get the adblock plugin and it will make short work of most ads, plus you can use your own custom filters...

It's just that this "Ads by Google" appeared to the right in these forums only. Can you not see it? Or is it really just me... ?

The ads are an essential way to generate money for the site to keep it going, because at the moment imb39 the site owner is paying for it all himself. Having the ads helps him to pay for the site and keep it going.Has anyone noticed the ads that were put here today? TWC has had ads for quite a while hasn't it? Anyway I think the Google ads are relatively unobtrusive.

These have been around for a while before what happened in January, they went away for a while, but they are not that bad.
