Well I fight but i lost the city.!! I can't believe I have 4000 leginers with eagle and I lost the battle against 1500 gauls!
How is it possible???

How should we know? Bad tactics? Underestimated the enemy? You only had weak troops and theirs were elite warriors? A combination of those?
I haven't seen the battle so I cannot tell.
Don't complain, put your money to a good use and fight them. If it is too hard start a new campaign with a lower difficulty level.

The AI has ALL the advantages in autoresolve. RTW was not meant to be played that way, my friend. You will get your butt kicked by the Gauls and germans doing that, because these are powerful warriors.

The only time I auto resolve is where I have a full stack army against a few units of AI.

I won't even let the AI take control of my reinforcements on a battlefield. Not this mod (because I've not tried it) but others have put me off this. My archers charged ahead of the reinforcements once head long into a phalanx!

I've read somewhere that the way auto resolve works is that it sends in a single unit at a time. So, with your army arrange the units so that the toughest ones are at the top left hand side and then progress onwards. You could also leave the 'precious' mercenary units towards the end.

Anyway, as this is a player screen shot thread I will go back on topic...

Lowering the difficulty will improve your chances in autoresolve, but you are missing out on a great part of the game.

Never saw the point of auto resolving unless it would be pointless to fight the battle (e.g 100 troops in a town which would just waste time) and even then, if you play out the battle you could come out with no losses

The game is all about tactics my friend, war is meant to be played out on the battle field, not resolved by a stats roller

You have more than enough money so start to churn out troops, even auxillary ones if some towns cans recruit legions. Fight all the way to the death and you will push them back.

With that much money you might even try and bribe a few towns/stacks if you are really desperate
Take pride in your forces and lead them to glory!

Do you know some mod or skins that reskin barbarian units like gallic warrior but I would like him to have a helmet with horns like in LEGIO 3 preatorian mod.????

No need to be sorry mate, it depends on how YOU want to play your game. Just might be easier to try a few battles, trust me you'll get hooked on them and never auto resolve again!

Check out the Arverni and Celtic chieftains previews (and the other Celtic previews when they come out). Only a matter of time before you get your horned helmets with RS.
