Well well, i have tried to put up with it, tried opening my computer, tried cooling it with the window open all day, but it seems that i cannot get bf2 to work right with the new drivers. I have an X1600XT @ 256 mb and every other game i own works very well with it, they all perform better. BF2 actually plays better, it has no lag whatsoever, and it runs very smoothly. However it has had a LOT of issues since i updated to the new drivers. On Daqing if i scope the AT weapons, all i get is a black screen, the pistols have just a black gloss texture, chopper blades are just black squares, jet exhaust is the same. Terrain is messed up as well on certain maps. Could this be a bad install of BF2? or is it my suspicion that it is these new drivers.
