    Dear Friends
    Kind Regards

I love this version of the song.Yet i am disgusted and enraged by the idiot who uploaded this in 2 parts. This is 13:18 combined and it could have easily have fit into 1 slot.
This significantly detracts from the enjoyment.
however it is SRV so you can still enjoy it.

Anything Stevie Ray Vaughan did was solid gold. Especially this, thanks for bringing it to my notice!

Agreed. He was a monster. A shame that he died.

If you would like to see the whole of this performance then i would recommend you buy 'Stevie Ray Vaughan Live at Montreux 1982 & 1985' for an amazing concert.
Incredibly in 1982 he was booed off stage by the ignorant people there.
Despite the majority of the audience not liking him,David Bowie was in attendence and he knew talent when he saw it.Bowie helped Stevie into the limelight and asked him to play on his record thus propelling him into the 'big time'
I would also recommend 'Live at the el Mocambo' it is probably the best i've heard SRV play.
The definitive DVD of him.Buy it.

Yes, it is terrible that he died, but it does add a mystique to his playing, the fact that it cannot be duplicated/reproduced.

Here is an interview with stevie in '85
I believe he is under the influence of something.(probably dope)
The interviewer is a bit of a nerd.

My favorite SRV song is 'Dirty Pool' live at Carnegie Hall.

“I grew up middle class, white, my parents loved me. So I might not necessarily relate to what your circumstances were. I hear them and understand them, but that’s not an excuse for you to fail. Don’t come in here and say, ‘Well, you know, that’s just kind of the way I was brought up.’ No. If you’re in a bad way right now, it’s because of the choices you made in response to your circumstances. So change your choices.” -Gene Chizik
