I have been playing Medieval 2 Total war for a month now and I do not find it difficult on even the hardest setting (Campaign and Battle), could someone please tell me if there are any mods for difficulty

I think most of the major mods seek to make the game harder by giving the AI more cash, changing upkeep costs and AI army composition and things like that. I recommend Lands to Conquer 2.1 - I certainly can't beat it playing the harder factions on VH/VH.

Most good mods will not only balance the game and improve the mechanism of the game but also improve AI (with the help of the ultimate AI mod ). Examples include the Long Road mod and Lands to Conquer.

I agree - loaded LTC a week ago and the game has just got interesting. Even on VH/VH the game was a piece of cake but now I can actually feel it challenging me...

Hardgame is quite good, the garisson script makes he game harder. It also includes arrows that stick to walls.

Definitely try it, it is a must!

Deffinently The Long Road feels realistic and makes you think more.
"Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity; and so we ask ourselves, 'Will our name echo across the centuries, will strangers hear our names long after we are gone and wonder who we were, how bravely we fought, how fiercely we loved?" Odysseus (from the film Troy)

Yep, "The Long Road" is the best I know out there. And it makes the game really hard.
