    Did anyone see that tonight?

Driving through Alabama with "Man Love Rules OK" written on the side of a Dodge Ram was ****ing classic.

"Your in a hick town whether you like it or not, ima gonna call in the boys"

The Camera and Cast where chased from a petrol station by a bunch of Red Necks in a puckup throwing Rocks. I fell out of my chair laughing.

That was a brilliant show tonight, trying to find dinner that was limited to road kill only was something, then Jeremy bringing in the cow on his roof. But driving through Alabama with slogans like "Hilary for President", "Man love rules ok" and "NASCAR sucks" won it. I could feel the tension within myself as they passed all those hicks.

They showed it on the Discovery channel a while ago, unfortunately, us stupid Americans must not have liked it, since last season was it. I really liked it too. But fyi, Alabama =/= America.

It's one of the highlights of the week. The chemistry between the presenters is about as good as it gets. Top quality TV. BBC too, no surprises there...

I have to say that I really liked the episodes I saw on the Discovery Channel. My favorite two were the "Is it faster to drive or take public transportation across Europe" challenges. Wish my car sounded like a wide-open DB9....

Yeah, what they normally do is review cars, like the Bugati Vaeron, fast cars an **** like that however in some episodes they do something special.

This time they went to the states and where given $1,000 to buy a car and then drive from Miami to New Orleans doing some chalanges on the way, like painiting each others cars up to cause offence to the locals, racing it around a track and doing a drag race on a track that ended in a crocodile infested river.

It stars Jeremy Clarkson (who's mother was at my uncles wedding  she walked up to me and went [literally] "Hello, I'm Jeremy Clarksons mum", then there is Richard Hammond [The Hamster] who you may have heard of, and James May, who is just "British" personified. It's great stuff.

It's the only British motoring show on TV at the moment. There are others, but they're pale imitations - literally so, since one abominable alternative, Fifth Gear, seemed to be going out of its way to emulate it.

It's very funny, very well-written and well-directed. And in this particular episode the presenters had to drive from Miami to New Orleans in cars they'd bought for less than $1000, doing challeges along the way. One of these was "Drive through Alabama; you lose points if you get shot or arrested but you win points for getting your mates shot or arrested."

They painted each others' cars; one ended up with "MAN-LOVE RULES OK" and "I'M BI"; another with "HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT"; the third with "COUNTRY MUSIC IS RUBBISH". They pulled in for petrol and were threatened with, well, violence. Which quickly materialised as they jump-started the car of the third presenter. Hilarious, but ****ing terrifying.

Never really been into Top Gear. Jeremy Clarkson irks me somewhat. It always struck me as a boys-own-wank-over-cars-you-cannot-afford program. Tho maybe I'm just spiteful cos I have a run-down Punto.
