Forth age help

hi all
I'm a little new to this and when I downloaded everything and made sure everything was right, I click on the forth age icon to start playing and a little message pops up and it says "unable to find skeleton, fs_axemen". Any help would be greatly appreciatied right now.

Welcome to the forums, Cactus. Could you give us a detailed description of what you did, and what happened, during install? Just so that we can spot where you went wrong.

ok, first I downloaded the patches 1.5 and 1.6 from "www.thefourthage.org" because the instructions recommended I do that. Then I clicked on a patch that was the full installation and it brought up a window of what i think is when the mod is copied over on ROME BI and just when I thought i ready to play i start the program up and a message pops that says "Genetic error" unable to find skeleton "fs_axemen"

Did the dos window open up (it should be up for about 12 minutes)?

I have same problem, dos window didn't show up

Can you tell me what I did wrong

After you close the install window, a dos window should appear - the only reason I can think that this may not happen is if you immediately after the install window closes clicks on something else (like the Forth Eorlingas shortcut).
