    Default "Show Your Empire" Thread

heres my small Cimmerian Bosporan Empire... i built up my economy for the first 5 turns then started to take many of the settlements outlining the black sea... it increased my income to about 60k per turn when i got to year 260... ive personally destroyed the Pontics and the annoying pergamum and know im strengthening my borders.. building cheap stacks of militia hoplites to slow down any advancing enemy stacks on my borders..

the greeks are becoming an immediate threat as you can see with a stack near my borders and many other stacks being created in the middle of their empire... im gonna have a hard time with those... i also bought athens for 60k and can now train Athenian hoplites if im supposed to in the game

    Looks like great fun!
Am I right if the Syracusians took Capua, and the Epirotes Cannae? That's the first campaign I see the Epirotes holding on in Italy.
Greeks are overpowered though, I have underestimated them in my own campaign (I'll post it in a couple of hours). I hope they won't batter down my armies

heres my fledgling roman "empire" lol. its just on the brink of explosion i think, i tried not too go to fast, but carthage declared war, i now have three full stacks in various carthaginian territories, besieging Carthage, Carthago Nova and Lepcis Magna. Take that Carthage. I kicked Epirus out of Italy and got a ceasefire, but they were starting to dominate macedon and northern greece so i intervned in the form of a full stack. i took one settlement so far in a bloody hard battle, hardest yet i think. So im going to hole up there until a 2nd stack can land there too. im currently allied with greece, that wont last long i dont like the greeks. so soonish, my territories will expand to include carthages coastal holdings and im gonna destroy epirus and then just catch my breath for a while, with the extra settlements i should be able to afford a large scale infrastructure plan. so yeh.

tankbuster thats what happened... im also suprised that happened to since the epirots were also kicked off the greek peninsula

    --------------------------------------

ok new update on my empire!! ok

not much has happened but i expaned more into the greek peninsula almost destroying the greeks... the macedons were stupid and didnt become my protectorate when they just had 1 settlement left so i defeated them... then the 3 stacks i had in lower turkey started to move on the Seleucid Empire... they are sending waves and waves of stacks with war elephants so its getting pretty tough there... also the factions the Getae, Ptolemaic, and Armenia are allied with me... its a pretty strong alliance since im paying a regular tribute to each to make them trust me more.... the ptomlemaics and armenians are attacking the seleucids as well and im trying to get some troops up to germania to help the getae out.... ive helped them out of alot of stuff already... its already year 240 and my income is a strong 150k per turn now when i build its about 100k... i springin out stacks of regular hoplites every 2 years or so now... this is really helping my hold the greek peninsula... also the epirotes are the protectorates of the romans and the romans are at war with the syracusians... the stupid thing is that they have 9 stacks at the coast line but no boats are coming to take them to sicily... theres the stupid AI..

thats a cool looking campaign there, it makes me want to play the bosporans.

heres mine, nothing major has changed, my invasion of greece isnt going so well, i spose cos i havent tried anything yet lol. i suffered a fair bit of casualties in takin carthago nova, against two stacks though. now it is besieged by three times the size of my army. if they dont attack in the next turn im going to sally out.

Lol Marku is that with the last patch? How the hell did the free people wipe out the Greeks?

    --------------------------------------

This is my Roman Empire 270 BC on the Provincial Campaign (big map) on Hard/Hard
I must say that the provincial campaign is a lot more challenge than the smaller mundus magnus map.
I killed Pyrrhus in a huge battle. His army ('bout 3000 men + 2000 reinforcements) against two legions (4000 men). Kills: 4953. Losses: 1674.
Then I started a major invasion of Epirus, while some legions were conquering the rest of Greece. I declared war on Macedon while taking Thermon.
Athens is about to fall, and so is Corinth. Pella is also under siege and the Macedonians are down to 3 continental provinces (including Pella).

I'm currently pulling out two half legions back to Rome for retrainement.

And this is the world 270 BC. As you can see, things are still evenly matched and only one faction (Epirus) is dead yet, though Greece = Athens and Macedon = minor annoyance.

Id have to say I disagree. On the mundus magnus map their are far more cities and enemies create many more armies. Such as in my campaign its only me(romans), the germans(im bout to wipe out) and the ptolemics. I control the west up and ptolemices control the middle east and Anatolia all the way up to India. Ive counted 83(!!!!) full armies that the ptolemics have just around palestine. All I have is my battle hardened legions to face off against the other half of the world. Its going to be an epic struggle.

My Pergamum Empire. I started with taking out all of the rebel territory around me,and then the Greeks attacked. Apparently, they felt pretty confident after taking out the Macedonians that they could take me out as well. No such luck for them, as I took all of their territory. Then, I combined with the Romans to take out Epirus. I'm still allied with the Seleucids, but I've bribed about three of their westernmost cities. Now, I'm at war with the Getae, and I'm getting ready to make an offensive and take the Nile Delta from the Ptolemaics.
