Kingdom Of Portugal Missing?

I'm playing the version 0.65 and i need ask, if its possible added portuguese kingdom at least since the 2º era !?

kinda like romano-british appears on BI , they become a new faction !! same would be nice if this happen on this mod

and make it playable if the player complete all the objectives of the game

well, if there ever was made a second or third era, then it would certainly be possible (though I'm not a historian myself, so I cant say whether that would be legitimate or not). Unfortunately, I dont know if there ever will be any more era's, as all of DP's textures were lost, and we probably wont have the man power to continue.

If we would develop a High/Late Era campaign, then yes, Portugal could or would be a faction. Very probable, there won't be a further campaign on RTW . Very maybe, on M2TW in future.
However, for the Early Era (RTW) we won't have emerging factions. But i could add a further unit for Castile in Portuguese regions trainable only, if it would satisfy you a bit -> the mounted sergeants of Castile (not in use for the campaign atm.) could become a Portuguese mounted lancer unit ... Ataegina, do you have a special name for them, also eventually a special name for the now called 'Portuguese Heavy Warriors'?

Ill make a search about names , but another ideia if its possible change the ITALIANS to portugueseses movie to penisula iberica and change just banner and names ??

portugal have huge importance in reconquista , more coz the faster campaign in less than 1 century they got done !!

county exist since 9 century and also officialy since 1143 !!

In my opinion theres few factions who dont have reason to be there, i think on that age , when crusades and the fight between two religions rule the world, i think they deserve, for the most successfull campaign against islamic factions!

When judging which countries deserve a faction slot you also have to consider the balance of the game.

The Iberian peninsula is already crowded with three factions, while the Italian boot only has one faction (that expands as if the devil was on their tail) the Sicilians.

Several factions could use a slot in the early era, but sadly we have a hardcoded limit of 20 factions excluding rebels.

They freed their old homelands from an islamic occupation and founded their kingdom (as relatives of the Castilian house, afaik), but not more in that time. Portugal came into historical important account a bit later (15th century first, with adeventures into West-Africa for example, "Heinrich The Seafarer" ), who layed the base for their later seapower/colonies.

and castille ?

reasons are the same spain its only in same age , into discoveries !! before they're fighting for the same without say theres not only castille ( kingdom of lion, castille, navarra and aragão ) so the reasons of stay and conditions to win are valid for both coz neither castille or portugal have such importance on this age , except for kick out the muslims from the p. iberica.

This isnt judging the mod , just about history , for me would be fair in 2ºera - 3ºera !!
