what are you talking about.
I guess he means this. Presumably the defeat of 30,000 Vikings by 200 Franks.
First of all, bear in mind that army sizes in the Dark Ages are often exaggerated. Second, a siege is a very different scenario to a field battle or ambush and it is entirely possible for very small numbers of men to hold off vast armies if the fortifications are good enough, especially if the besiegers aren't experienced in siege warfare, which I can't imagine the Danes particularly were.
That said, since I don't know anything about this event except what the wiki article says, I'll stop talking now.

The article itself was poorly written, so perhaps there is reason to doubt it. Doesn't seem like a historian wrote it, if you ask me.

Do we know anything about the Dark Ages? The chronicles of the time could even say a single man defeated a zillion demons in his bedroom without being criticised, or without fearing that what they wrote down will be uploaded 1150 years later on a heavily bashed wiki.![]()
True. There's a reason it's called the Dark Ages - the lack of enlightenment that the period suffered.
