It gets results
Take a look at this picture. Stare at it just for a few moments without any thought. Just look at it, for once.Some, or perhaps many of you know me. I've made posts in the past with perhaps an aggressive tone or that that may have carried implications that I may have offended a number of you. And for that, I apologize.
As cliché as it sounded, I know it carries very little weight, but I believe deep down inside, those are the words you still need to hear.
We attack each other, throwing insults, boiling what were once discussions, into a personal conflict between individuals divided into camps.
Give me have another chance.
Let me make my peace.
Sit with me, and unclench your fist.
Respect goes hand in hand with understanding, so for once, let us be on the same plain with each other, and see the world through my eyes.
Look at this child.
I cannot even begin to comprehend how any person in their right mind would defend radicals that oppress their own people.
In a world where human understanding and tolerance is finally breaking through the cracks on the ground and surfacing, I sometimes feel it too much to think that such people would just take a moment and look at themselves in the mirror, and ask if anything they have ever done improved the lives of others. But I won't go into the subject further. I just wanted to make my peace.
If you considered this to be a waste of your time, then I'm sorry. But before you hit the back button on your browser, I ask you to then at least take away these words with you:
He who refuses to listen is more deaf than the man who cannot hear.
