This is flawed statement.

Israel occupies Palestine, deliberately imposes brutal military oppression on the Palestinian population, and discriminates them, over the Israeli settler population. Israel steals 80% of Palestinian water for the Israeli settlers, and continues to confiscate their land and bulldoze Palestinian buildings.

It is in Palestine, where Israeli imposed aphertheid exists.

I think the point is that Arabs living in Israel enjoy less rights than Jews living in Israel.
I believe that officially they have the same rights, but in practice they are treated as second-rank citizens and they aren't allowed to gain a majority in government even if they become a majority in numbers.
And if you consider the fact that Israel doesn't recognize Palestine, and treats the whole area as their own, than they are clearly an apartheid state.

Well, the whole idea of a Jewish homeland is that of apartheid (giving Jews the right to settle there but not giving the same right to non-Jews), so no surprises here.

Reading it, I have this to say: give it a rest, people! The Jews have not enjoyed a sovereign nation like Israel since the Romans took Jerusalem. They are the most historically opressed people in my mind (Assyrians, Romans, Egyptians, Inquisition, Reconquista, Holocaust, the list goes on and on) they deserve that sliver of their ancient homelands!

I do not think Israeli laws are that apartheid, but I'm sure extremism is growing in that country because human right activists sometimes are harassed by Jewish extremists there such as the one in Hebron toward this young Swede activist.

Well, the Palestinians left voluntarily. Their good "friends" told them to leave, and then come back when all the Jews were dead.

Anyway, according to what I watched in 'The 50 Years War', the Palestinians fled due to a propaganda failure done by the Egyptians. On the eve of the invasion by neighboring Arab States to protect Palestine from foreign settlers, the Egyptians made an exaggerated propaganda telling horrible things done by Israelis toward Palestinian women and children in order to gain support. However, the side effect was that throngs and throngs of Palestinians fled their homes fearful of the advancing Israelis.

In my opinion, the Israelis only did not prevent the Palestinians from fleeing, but they definitely did not force them out of their homes.

I have to disagree with you.

400 years of slavery I believe is worse. I think the Africans have had much worse.

Multiple millions of their people died. So when it comes down t that, they have nothing to say compared to hundreds of millions dead due to slavery. And now, Africa is nothing but a cess pool except for a few places. All that is due to Europe. Has Europe given money to African nations to help them get back on their feet? I would love to hear some examples if you could find some for me.

The Palestinians do have rights to the lands too. Don't get me wrong. The Palestinians are, as history suggests, un-deported Jews who adopted Islam and the Muslim culture.
