Has anyone played until the XVI century?

Hello guys, I´m new here.
I´ve been playing Deus lo Vult for a while, and this is a fantastic mod!! Nice work!!
I´m playing with Portugal on VH/VH, and the game is really interesting. I´m on turn 30, and it has being really challenging.
However, I would like to know if there is anybody here that actually played for 900 turns. On every topic, I just see people playing campaigns for about 50 to 100 yeas.
I don´t know, but I feel that after some hundreds of turns, the game will become too boring, because of the stupid AI. I don´t think that I will take several hundreds of turns to complete the campaign goals, and I really would like to reach America.
So, what do you have to say??

Take some breaks, play another faction, then come back after some days and try again if it get's boring.

goto your

C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mod\Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat

and change the starting date since i dont recomend the timescale b/c mod work with that timescale in mind ^^
