    Default i want 2yrs/turn, how do i change the build times to accomodate?

    this mod looks great, but i don't want to wait so long for gunpowder and such with the 1 year per turn option. unfortunately just changing the timescale doesn't really work because you modded the build times to better fit the one year game. so if i replaced whatever text file contains these build times with the one from the vanilla M2TW, what other changes am I going to be missing out on? is it going to screw up the AI or anything? and which text file is it? thanks.

    You wont need to mod the build times. with 2 YPT it should work more historically than it currently does. Lusted modded build times with balance in mind more than history, so most elite units are available in the 1200s.

    well i don't want to wait 6 turns for a church. i don't care too much about realism. i think the build times in this mod make the game kinda boring, personally.

    then play a different mod. Or mod the EDB file.

    that's the best part! time for another mod for you perhaps? for me, the slower pace is the best, that's why I love this mod.

    Dude, just play Deus lo Vult. The movement points are high (a little too high), but the campaign map is the best part. I also hate when modders "think" they're making the game better, but just end up ruining it.

    Personally I'd rather sail on Louis XIV's revenge. But Queen Anne had her day.

    Yes, the recruitment system has been edited and unit pool sizes and replenishment numbers ahve been changed.

    I also hate when modders "think" they're making the game better, but just end up ruining it.
    It's a matter of personal preference. Some people like the changes i've made and think they're great, others do not and think they make the game boring or ruin it.
