Yes I am speaking of o-zone.

My question is to the Euros: "Are there any other bands this good over there?"

Plenty. And better. They just represent music which is not american mainstream.

In Europe heavy is getting bigger by day.

Are you into Metal? If you are, Europe is way ahead of America.

While American Death Metal bands are good, Europe's far ahead in Black, Power, Heavy, Melodic-Death and Viking/Folk Metal. But to be fair to the Americans, 2006 saw some good American bands in the spot-light.

Tiwaz, I agree with you, although those bands you mentioned are the more "popular" bands and N'Flamez sounds like just another American band these days.

Ever since the days of Thrash and early Death Metal, the American Metal scene has been on a downward slope with -core bands emerging from all over the place claiming they're Metal.

Excellent Euro bands too are Böhse Onkelz, Psycho Motel, Bruce Dickinson.

I know a lot of the metal scene has made it big hear. Especially the Scandanavian metal bands. Most have been named already but to name a few more.

Tiwaz, while I agree with your list and with your quest to enlighten one about real music, I truly doubt it that someone who can listen to O-zone and like them can be redeeemed...

You never know... After all, everyone must see enlightenment at some point. Though I have great doubt over finding much records of mentioned bands in USA.

Besides, someone besides him might find something new and amusing in it.

We do make a lot. It just rarely goes to states as people there cannot appriciate finer things.

But generally, no. In metal circles USA does not see that much success.

dEUS, A belgian band but they sing in English.. Excellent.. has 4 albums the last of which was not so great but the other 3 brilliant!
