Let's say I wanted to extract all the skins of Darth mod and use them in RTW vanilla, could this be done easily considering the units use the same names ?

I've never played Darth mod,
but adding or swop-ing in new models and skins is straight forward.
But just because the unit names are the same doesn't mean you can simply copy and paste the .cas i.e the models and .tga files i.e the skins over.
The important file for adding new models etc is the Descr_model_battle thats the file that determines which units use which models and skins.
