Default Any suggestions for historical compilation?

Hey guys! I've hounded the forums since Rome, but never really bothered to register. :x But I came to seek help from kindred spirits, eh?

Like many of you, I've been playing M2TW and have been dying for some AI mods and just general realism. Don't get me wrong, I'm all over the kind've gimmicky look and color coordination in Vanilla. That's why I love burrek's textures! But that kind've brings me to my big question, and one several people have heard before:

What kind've mods should I use?

Right now I've been using Lands to Conquer with burrek's textures, and while fun, it's not as engaging as in the past. Plus I'm a little worn of passive AI. Don't get me wrong, the game is a beast and hella great, but I'm admittedly not really too capable of playing on VH yet. So I've been taking a look at the Long Road and it sounds intriguing! Very much so.

What would the veterans of the mod community here recommend for something fresh? Mod compendiums or individually, I'm all over crafting my own experience. Insight is much appreciated!

I think the Long Road is a good choice if you're looking for a more moderate and historical approach to the game.
