    Default Yo, a few observations...

Hey, thanks a lot for this mod. It has allowed me to actually have fun with the game. I didn't even know about the shield or 2h bug and it would have really bothered me as I found out the hard way.

I want give some feedback on some things I've noticed.

Diplomacy. Imo its still broken badly. For some reason I have a despicable rep when I have not broken one alliance or ceasefire or any agreement. On the other hand many of my enemies have good rep when they betray me time and time again. Why is my rep so low? Is it because I'm playing the Turks?

Guilds. I have a thieves guild in almost every city I own, yet I have not been offered any other type of guild. Is this normal?

Did you change the way units are recruited? I have a military acadamy for Janissaries (sp).

Anyway, the diplomacy is driving me crazy. I mean I was allied with Egypt and they wouldn't even attack my enemy's boats right next to their own. Its a shame that trade income gained doesn't affect a country's feelings about you.

So, what do you think about these things?

You can only have one type of guild per town, that's why you're not getting offered other types. Specialize your cities, for instance, I build markets and merchants in cities I want a merchant's guild, and priests and churches with a high piety general where I want theologians guild.

Not to answer in Lusted's behalf, but simply :
You can only get one guild per town, so you need to choose and specialize your towns. You can also go back, destroy a guild and wait for another to be offered.
Bad reputation of the Turks seen by the christians? Maybe, it'll be good. Do you also sack or erradicate alot of the towns you conquer? Do you ransom, free or execute your prisonners? Do you operate alot of unsuccesfull intelligence?
I think, but might be wrong, Janissaries come wth gunpowder... Actually not, but recruitment has been, thanksfully, changed to a more appropriate system, making stabbles worth to build.
Is Egypt at war against your enemies? Give them some presents and theyll be, or attack your enemy whyle an egyptian army/fleet is in the neighboring tile, theyll declare war, thats actually the best way to get an ally to war with your enemies, forcing them to help you, since as you pointed, often allies declare war on their allies' enemies but just stay symbolically at war. By "forcing" them I got most of my allies i waring frenzies... And the money you get from the trade (a lot in most cases!) can be partly used to buy some good feelings!

I must say I'm not sure I like the diplomacy modifications, the computers are boring.

    Yes i did.

You must play the campaign on VH to get the best from the Ultimate Ai mod that is included in 2.1. Future versions of that mod feature more aggressive ai, and will be included in future versions of my mod.
