Editing unit stats
Is it impossible to edit unit stats in the LTC mod?
I tried both the export_descr_unit and the xexport_descr_unit file in the in the SEGA/MTW2/landstoconquer/data folder, but the changes I make don't show up in-game.

Re: Editing unit stats
Well what exactly are you changing(and yes you need to edit the export_descr_unit.txt file).

Re: Editing unit stats
I increased the missile attack and range of longbowmen.
In-game, their missile attack is still 8, and it seems their range didn't change either.

Re: Editing unit stats
I found out what caused the problem.
The LTC install creates 2 new folder in the MTW2 folder: landstoconquer & landstoconquer[log].
The landstoconquer.cfg file pointed to the landstoconquer[log] folder, instead of to the landstoconquer folder.
I never changed anything, so no clue how this happened.

Re: Editing unit stats
? That is odd. My advice is reinstall both M2TW, then LTC, and if things are still messed up copy everything from landstoconquer[log] into landstoconquer, and make a new .cfg file that has this in it:
[features]
mod = landstoconquer

Re: Editing unit stats
I fixed it by changing mod = landstoconquer[log] to mod = landstoconquer in the .cfg file, and it works correctly now
Thanks for the help.
