Overwrite situation.

Hi.
I have RTRPE v1.7 and it plays fine.
I am trying to install Candelarius' ER mod with the Promethean pack.
I have WinRar and can extract to desktop fine. Then I follow the guide to install to mods and I just can not get them to overwrite, no way, no how.
I always end up with an extra Data file with all the CERmod stuff, in the main game Data file. (I'm not that Techy, as you can imagine!)
I have XP. if thats any help.
Can any one help please?

I think there is a simple solution. Go into the data folder with Candel's mod, then hit ctrl-a. Then hit ctrl-x. Then go back to your main data folder and hit ctrl-v. Then hit 'ok' if it asks you to overwrite something. That should work.

Glad to help. {shameless plug}Make sure to try out the next version of my MightyMiniMod for it when it comes out soon!{/plug} It rebalances some of the units and merc pools. It may also increase upkeep costs to slow the game down a bit (I love this mod, but at 4tpy the games are over much too soon).

If you like playing Rome, you're going to _love_ Candel's mod.
