I don't think this ever happened. Also don't forget that all three of them, the Greeks, the British and of course the Ottomans fought against the Turkish nationalists until 1922.

In fact, it didn’t happen. Are you referring to the fact that during Greek-Turkish war an allied commission compared the Greek occupation around Smyrna to an annexation and recommended ending it? it is true that in 1920 the leaders of Greece were dependent on a vanishing allied support and were getting desperate, and the situation continued to spiral for Greece and improve for Turkish nationalists.

Crimea has only been a part of the Russian/Soviet Union control for a couple hundred years. Surely you'd prefer for the Tatars or Crimean Khanate who occupied large parts of modern Ukraine, or to the PLC, which occupied most of Ukraine before the Khanate. Russia be given the area back?

That's not really the situation though? Eastern Ukraine is still dominantly ethnic Ukrainian, whereas Crimea was not at any point.
