    I don't know if this is pertinent but I'm using the mod "Empire Total War II" and I'm playing the Steam version.

    I'd like to make artillery have a limited supply of ammunition just like infantry do. I've tried changing the "ammo" count at "data/it_unitsdb.pack/db/unit_stats_land_tables/artillery_unit_stats_land" using Pack File Manager, this had no effect.

    Does anyone know how to achieve this?

    Looks like you need to pay attention to overriding files. Sometimes mods have multiple files that can override each other. Check if there’s another file that might be resetting your changes. Also check the campaign and battle statistics as there may be different tables for the campaign.

    Hang on, how is changing the ammo count going to help?

    I found this piece of code at "data/patch.pack/ui/battle ui/special_tooltip_scripts/special_tooltip.luac"

    functionUpdateLandInformation(details)
    iftrue== details.has_ammo then
    ammo_bar
    :SetVisible(true)
    local current_ammobar_height = utils.TruncToInt(g_ammobar_height * details.PercentAmmoRemaining)
    ammo_bar
    :Resize(ammo_bar:Width(), current_ammobar_height)
    local parent_x, parent_y =UIComponent(ammo_bar:Parent()):Position()
    local x = parent_x + g_ammobar_x
    local y = parent_y + g_ammobar_y +(g_ammobar_height - current_ammobar_height)
    ammo_bar
    :MoveTo(x, y)
    else
    ammo_bar
    :SetVisible(false)
    end
    end

    I'm figuring I need to follow "has_ammo".
