The Dumb Butt Moments Thread

We've all had them, so now's the time to step up and share them. Kay, I'll go first. I think these are my top two.


* I went shopping at the Walmart neighborhood market about a year ago had two million things buzzing in ma mind all at once. Get through shopping, load the truck and pull into the Gas kiosk there. I pay the lady $30.00 USD, and
go back to the truck. I crank up the engine and drive off. After unloading the groceries and sitting down for a breather, it suddenly occurs to me that I forgot to pump me gas.
You're welcome to whoever pulled up behind me and got a thirty dollar freebe.....


* Tis Thanksgiving and I am to bring the just out of the oven, delicious Turkey*. I get into the car, drive an hour and a half to my friend's house. After twenty minutes or so one of the hungry people asks....

Yo Alan, where's the Turkey? ........ My response was....

The bright yellows in the Blackout background hurt my eyes. Otherwise that's the background screen I would use. If you high light the words with your mouse that's how I work around hard to read backgrounds.
Maybe that might work. Btw, writing in black in off topic forums. Hurts ma eyes and direly affects ma self esteem. I Hoed out worked really hard back in the day to get to be known for dat color.

Gimmie a dumb butt moment or two. Just asking.... On the topic of background screens, Rome II rules all and purple mixes really well with the background.

Rome 2 is definitely one of the better skins, for sure. It's still a bit too bright for me, though. Nothing will top the barbie theme from days of yore, though.

Also, interestingly, the old R2 rep stuck around when I switched skins back. Looks kind of cool, especially since my least favorite part of the blackout theme is the rep icons.
