Perhaps, though they're low priority on the list of units to create.

Barring the Praetorian Cohors, nope.

Will there be more Parthian units (Grivpanvar, Partho-Hellenic Infantry)?

Yes, more Parthian and steppe regionals to come.

Is the reason that the other Augustan era units are not going to be added is because of the hard coded limits for the amount of units?

There are other far higher priority units for our limited number of slots, given they're extremely late in the game. The mod only just touches the Augustan era, there's no justification for giving one faction it's third total reworking of its factional roster.

Our main regions of attention where units are concerned are in Gaul/Britian (Expect more Celts) and the Far Eastern Steppe (You might see some new units from beyond the eastern fringes of the campaign map in the next release, and no, it will not be the Han....). We will not be able to give an approximate date for the relase at this point in time.

Will there be more North African and Middle Eastern units?

Of Africans, there's only the Gaetulians (in the build, don't think they've been previewed yet) and Ethiopian elite cavalry left. Still a bunch of Arabian regionals still to come.
