You don't have to look very far to find the answer to your hypothesis. In 2016 Eleor Azaria executed an already neutralised palestinian terrorist. Azaria was found guilty and sent to prison.

Exactly. From the river to sea, with a bible in the hand.

There is a lot of talk about the "day after",after the military defeat of Hamas (i.e. when Hamas is no longer able of any operational activity) and the hostage drama is resolved.
Let's assume, as a working hypothesis, that this happens. Let's also assume that Netanyahu's government falls.
    Two questions:
1-Do the supporters of "Greater Israel" also become permanently incapable of any operational activity?

2-Regarding the creation of a Palestinian state, there are analysts and politicians who find it practically unfeasible due to the expansion of the territory occupation in the West Bank, with the establishment of settlements (with over 700,000 Israelis), contradicting the Oslo Accords. Is Israel willing to evacuate these settlements?

As far as Israel is concerned, these are the questions that matter if a model for coexistence between the two states is to be shaped.

This isn't the way. Israel is corrupting its own self. Yes, they are faced with something hideous, we know that. Still, you already lost if you allowed yourself to become a monster.

He was released after 9 months in prison. He's been treated as a hero after his release. It's the price of getting the film of your shooting publicized.

Reminds one of those murderers of greeks in Cyprus, who are treated like heroes back in their own murderous fatherland. Israel isn't the first to do this - of course it should have been better than that.

That's kind of true everywhere; it is pretty rare for a society to regard crimes against 'the enemy' as a bad thing.

Cyprus was part of the Dar al-Islam. Thus it is always part of the Dar al-Islam.

Israeli air strikes killed two Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officers and two pro-Hezbollah fighters when they hit sites Saturday belonging to the Lebanese group near Damascus, a war monitor said.

The strikes near the Syrian capital came less than 24 hours after the end of a seven-day pause in fighting between Israel and Hezbollah ally Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

"Two Syrian fighters working with Hezbollah and two IRGC officers were killed in Israeli air strikes on Hezbollah sites near Sayyida Zeinab," south of Damascus, said Rami Abdel Rahman of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

^The jihadist groups are known for what they are; and they won't ever change. Israel, however, clearly has to aspire to something more civilized than that savagery and medievalness.

That ing "terrorist" was shot dead in the head by an Israeli company medic 15 minutes after that ing "terrorist" tried to stab an Israeli soldier inside West Bank.

Some, yes. All, no. Negotiations will have to happen. There are also ways to do it without clearing out any settlements, such as the Trump plan.

I agree that the sentence was too short, however he was still punished, which was my point. Ultimately, the person he shot was a terrorist who had stabbed someone just minutes prior.

Were the murdered Greeks terrorists who had just stabbed someone? Because if not I fail to see how this reminds you of that.

A man has died and two others, including a British man, have been injured in a knife and hammer attack on a street in central Paris.
The attack occurred near the Eiffel Tower shortly before 21:00 local time (20:00 GMT) on Saturday.

A 26-year-old French national known to security services has been arrested and anti-terrorism prosecutors have opened an investigation.
The man killed was a German tourist who worked as a nurse.
France's Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin said the victim was with his wife when he was attacked and fatally stabbed on Quai de Grenelle.
    [...]
The suspect was then Tasered by police and arrested on suspicion of assassination - defined in French law as premeditated murder - and "attempted assassination in relation to a terrorist enterprise".
He has been named in French media as Armand R, a 26-year-old French national with Iranian parents.
    [...]
Mr Darmanin said the alleged attacker was heard shouting "Allahu Akbar", Arabic for "God is greatest", and told police he was upset because "so many Muslims are dying in Afghanistan and in Palestine".
The suspect also suggested France was complicit in the deaths of Palestinians in Gaza.
Police said the man was released from prison in 2020 after serving four years for planning an attack, and was supposed to be following treatment for psychiatric problems.
    [...]
It comes less than two months after a teacher was killed in a knife attack at a high school in the northern city of Arras, prompting the French government to put the country on its highest level of national security alert.

The desire to send Gaza back to the Stone Age has long been an obsession for Israeli politicians, whether under another government or this one, 'Parts of Gaza sent back to Stone Age': Gantz videos 2019.
….One video takes credit for the IDF’s destruction of 6,231 Hamas targets in the 2014 Gaza war under Gantz’s command, boasting that “parts of Gaza were sent back to the Stone Age.”
In a statement released on Sunday, Pascal Hundt, the head of the ICRC’s Gaza operations, said Suffering for Civilians continues
…Current conditions do not allow for a meaningful humanitarian response, I fear will spell disaster for the civilian population.
In fact, Gaza has already been reduced to a pre-industrial society. We Went Back to the Stone Age-New York Times

Macron said on Saturday, “What is the total destruction of Hamas, and does anyone think it’s possible? If it is, the war will last 10 years. I think we’re at a point where the Israeli authorities are going to have to define their objective and desired end state more precisely.”

Israel's response couldn't be clearer: the ruins of Gaza, once the carnage is over, will be controlled by the Israeli army. Not least because, they say (1), the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have the same ideology: to destroy Israel.
And so, always victimizing themselves, they are preparing to "rebuild" the biblical Greater Israel, step by step, thanks to US military and financial aid, without which they won't be able to do what they want.
Kamala Harris can say that the US "under no circumstances will the United States permit the forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank, the besiegement of Gaza, or the redrawing of the borders of Gaza”, and Biden can say he wants a two state solution, but what reality shows us is that the Israelis know very well that they are using the anti-bunker bombs supplied by the US to make Gaza completely uninhabitable. Curiously, whenever the US calls for moderation, Israel escalates the conflict.

Both Biden and Trump have been courting the UAW and came out in support of strikers. Well, United Auto Workers calls for ceasefire in Gaza

The United Auto Workers, one of the US’s largest labor unions, has come out in support of a ceasefire in Israel and Palestine as a temporary ceasefire ended on Friday with Israel resuming military operations in Gaza.
The UAW is now the largest union to have called for a ceasefire. It represents 400,000 workers in the US and more than 580,000 retired workers.
“From opposing fascism in WWII to mobilizing against apartheid South Africa and the Contra war, the UAW has consistently stood for justice across the globe. A labor movement that fights for social and economic justice for all workers must always stand against war and for peace.”
“Our international executive board will also be forming a divestment and just transition working group to study the history of Israel and Palestine, our union’s economic ties to the conflict, and explore how we can have a just transition for US workers from war to peace.”
Ceasefire resolutions among local and national labor unions in the US have been increasing since early October. The American Postal Workers Union, the UE union, the California Nurses Association, the Chicago Teachers Union and several other local unions and worker groups have issued public calls for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
The announcement comes as the UAW recently secured historic gains in new union contracts with the Big Three automakers, Ford, Stellantis, and General Motors, and have launched a nationwide unionizing campaign aimed at organizing nearly 150,000 workers at 13 other large automakers in the US.
In a social media post Shawn Fain, the UAW’s recently elected president, said he was “proud” of the decision and that the UAW had “consistently stood for justice across the globe”.

He wasn't punished for shooting an unarmed Palestinian. He was punished for having his crime caught on tape. The "someone" that "terrorist" stabbed was an Israeli soldier within West Bank. You're basically arguing that all the Israelis that fought against Hamas fighters on October 7th could have been summarily executed.

The Houthis engage in more decolonization activities in the Red Sea:

The Pentagon has said it is investigating reports that a US warship and some commercial vessels in the Red Sea came under drone attack off the coast of Yemen, apparently launched by Houthi rebels in the country.

“We’re aware of reports regarding attacks on the USS Carney and commercial vessels in the Red Sea and will provide information as it becomes available,” the US Department of Defense said in a short statement on Sunday afternoon.

Shortly after, the Houthis said they had targeted two commercial ships on Sunday with an armed drone and a naval missile. Two vessels, Unity Explorer and Number 9, were targeted after they rejected warnings from the group’s navy, a spokesperson said.

The group said the ships were Israeli, although according to Maritime Traffic, Unity Explorer is flagged in a Bahamas and Number 9 is flagged in Panama. Both are recorded as being in the Red Sea area or having been there recently
