Default Creating a World - Basic mapping from scratch help

    Hi,

i've been trying the tutorial from Gigantus about mapping where you make the Iceland map.

However, one of the issues i have is that when i download Bare Geomod there's already a bunch of files there, but the tutorial keeps telling me to create some of them. I'm assuming since it's an older tutorial those files weren't there at the time of the tutorials release, and have been added in later version.

So now i don't know which files should remain for the new map, and which ones should be deleted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

For the tutorials sake you can remove\edit the following files before adding\editing details from the tutorial:

    bare_geomod\data\world\maps\base
    - directory: delete all graphic files and the map.rwm file.
    - descr_sounds_music_types.txt: remove all 'regions' lines.
    - descr_regions.txt: delete all content, this will then be filled with details from the tutorial
    - descr_terrain.txt: edit the height and width numbers with values from the tutorial

    bare_geomod\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign
    - campaign_script.txt: delete all lines between 'script' and '; keep script unfinished...'
    - descr_mercenaries.txt: delete all content
    - descr_strat.txt: delete all content, this will then be filled with details from the tutorial

    bare_geomod\data\text
    - imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt: delete all content AFTER the first line, this will then be filled with details from the tutorial

I think that's all of them. Do let me know if you run into further issues.
