Ottoman Empire XVth Century Revamp

Tsardoms Total War presents a preview of the revamped Ottoman roster for the upcoming 1448 campaign. There is one new unit, new upgrades, several revamped units and a new battle map leader model.

The standard of the first Ottoman Caliph Sultan Selim I represents the Zulfikar sword of ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib. This flag carried to Egypt by Selim I (1466-1520) can be seen in the Topkapi Museum. One can note the “Ya ‘Ali” written above the sword.

The Yayas are actually disbanded in 1582, as the Janississeri now provided army of Rumelia, where as the Anatolian army tended to be turks and any allied begs.

1582 is far after the timeframe of our mod. We only go to 1530 as far as history and technology is concerned.

The army of Rumellia and army of anatolia, the Anatolia army was generally comprised of more Turkmen and Turkish style, whereas the Rumellia was compromised of Timars, vassals, janissares.

Yes I it is best probably can do, in reality janissaries as you know would go out with Padisha and collect the army on campaign. But can't get the AI to to that
