Hello all, my question is about faction leader traits like beloved, feared, selfish, disdained, engaged, reserved, which are related to the character traits of the faction leader (like cheerful, egoistic, calm and so on..).
I searched the forum all over, and everywhere I read that this faction leader trait is active, if your faction leader is stationed in the capital, or is placed as a statesman, but if he commands an army in the field, this factionwide bonus (or malus) turns off.
In my game, DeI 1.3.2, this trait is always active, regardless of whether my leader is a statesman, a governor in the capital, or a general in the field, so its not true, what i read everywhere on this forum. My leader has "disdained faction leader" trait, so I was hoping I could turn it off, appointing him as a general..but it doesn't work that way.
So how is it currently about this? what's the difference in having a faction leader as a general, or as a statesman, or as a governor in the capital? in connection with faction leader (faction wide) bonuses ?
