Default Pastoral farm richer than Settled farm

Exactly whay it said to the title. Farming income usually are a support income for an income more primary like trade and mining. This include Egypt which is why Pteolamic is quite poor for it's size.

However pastoral farming by virtue of having 2 farm to build with their herd making it possible for faction to rely on them for farm income.

While i like this as it give Nomad an income to sustain themself that is not raiding it also kinda baffling that a Nomadic region would yield more farming capability than say the famous Egyptian farm.

Egyptian provinces tend to have a bonus for their farms, and with greek factions you can build really high level farms
however I think the reason your farms might not be making that much money is because of other buildings such as waystations and garrisons, food imports, and military colonies, all of which tend to reduce your farming income quite considerably when you add them all up.
nomads dont have those buildings so their farming potential is at its max.

Except in Alexandria the bonus isn't that much. The Egyptian farm is equivalent of Pastoral herds but Pastoral also have access to normal farms so every pastoral farms has capabiltiy of double farms and only Alexandria can keep up with Pastoral farms. Alexandria bonus fits with +4 but Mephis is only +2 and 2 province river of Upper Egypt is only +1

Also Nomad have Settled trait combine them with supervisor will make them an incompetent general but becone one of the best governor (while being nomad has opposite effect, best general but awful governor) Nomad settle governor get +1farming bonus for each level with maximum of 3 in addition to tax and trade bonus

actually yeah i forgot to take into consideration the settled trait line, ive no idea however historically whether nomadic/pastoral peoples had an advantage over settled people in terms of animal herding or not, and wether its profitable enough to eclipse settled farming
