Default Help: Unit Models Spiking Out in All Directions

I've been attempting to add a unit model into my Petty Kings campaign. I'm using preexisting models from other units in the game, and all I am doing is taking the shield used by one faction and putting it onto the back of a unit from another faction so that the faction flags show up correctly on the unit model. I at first had the t-post problem, which I was able to fix through a tutorial here. However, now I have the issue where my units are now just blobs of spikes. I have attached an image to show what I see in game as well as my milkshape file as I am unable to upload it to the forum for some reason.

The spikers mean that some groups have no bone assignment. That happens when you convert a unit model in .mesh format that hs been worked with a skeleton different than the one your converter from .mesh to milksjpe does.
You have to go group by group and assign each vertex to proper bone and give each group the proper comments.
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

I believe I have done that, and yet it still does this. Every part of the body is a solid color, indicating to me it is aligned to the proper bone. Would sharing my files help?

I am attaching the file itself here if that helps. I believe I have already done as you've said, but it still is spikey.

Make sure you don't make the selections in the Groups tab. In the Model tab, pick Select from Tools and choose Vertex in the Select Options. It seems to me that you may have something there that's invisible and uncatchable in your windows at normal zoom, so zoom out as much as you can. Make the selection in the whole area of the zoomed out window and assign to a bone. You can assign everything to one bone for testing.

Are you using milkshape 1.8.5? You need to use 1.8.4.

I think IWTE works with 1.8.5 but I haven't tested it.
