You can at least get magic missile as a level 1 spell and spam that till you get fireball. Unless you are playing 3.5 and somehow decided to ban evocation.

With "fantasy" I had in mind stuff more like Tolkien, Lewis, Martin, Forgotten Realms and the lot, but I think we can expand it so that it is "Guess the Fictional Character"

Since people have stopped guessing, the character I have in mind is from a fantasy series often classified as "grim" or "dark", and the ol' Jackman (via one of his characters) gives you half of my guy's name. That's two hints now
