Britannia Norway treason weirdness

Being bored I fired up the Britannia unmodded game.

First time i played Ireland and won.

Then I chose Norway.

On turn 2 reinforcements turn up - hurray

The fleets are combined and the army lands at Skye to start a siege.

Turn 3 - for some reason the general in charge decides to rebel.

I quit and play it again - same thing happens.

I check the campaign_script and the character has LoyaltyStarter5.

So why the instant rebellion ?

Makes having the character and his army in the game totally pointless.

The faction leader is off map (authority level?) until turn 10 plus distance from capital both could trigger it. Still surprising, given the loyalty level.

Edit - just checked: while the effect is loyalty 5 there is no level 5 for the LoyaltyStarter trait, only 1. Change the value to 1 and try again.

I had a quick look at the rest of the campaign_script found :

Yup management is only one level, too. It gives level 3 piety for some odd reason.
