    This is a selection of the most finished units provided to showcase custom skeletons and anims and the flag bearing officers.

    Play custom battle as Saxons v Normans to view.
    Saxons use Irish units - Normans use English units.

    Unit stats are not balanced in detail, this mini-mod is designed to allow publication of the skeletons and not for real playability.


    Anims, skeletons and units are FREE to use in any mod so long as that mod is NOT SOLD or restricted to subscription (Patreon) services.

    Please credit "Princes, Kings and Heroes" mod by Wilddog and Makanyane.


    TECHNICAL NOTES:

    The human skeletons have the right and left clavicle bones moved and repurposed as cloak bones.

    Horses are based on Marka horse skeleton but mesh models are old ones by Mak. There are three different sized versions available
    they all work at scale 1.0. There were some minor adjustments to the Marka anims to sort out height glitch and add more idle effects.
    Horses now have a jaw bone and mouth which opens in some anims.

    Javelin anims have been simplified so shaft is held point down and doesn't have to turn when being raised for the throw.

    Attempts have been made to remove some anatomically impossible arm movements.

    The bowman bowstring, flag bearer and other anims use the weapon skeleton sections for the extra bones
    if re-using you need to copy the model.db entries for both the main skeleton and weapon skeletons.
    As they do use weapon bones instead of extra bones in the main skeleton they do not cause the victim fatality bug when played.

    The animation and skeleton changes were done using Wilddog's IWTE tool and Blender.

    The full .cas anims have not been supplied with the mod but can be obtained by using IWTE's "Skeletons to cas/evt" function
    the descr_skeleton.txt file provided is the current one and does match the pack contents.

    Got no words to describe my gratitude! Great stuff and great sharing! An old Eastern quote says - "Only thing what you gave belongs to you".

    My sister, do you still recall the blue Hasan and Khalkhin-Gol?
