Patch 8 includes Patch7a in it, because I've noticed some people didn't ever download it. Fixes for patch 8 include:
1. Fixed economy so money is decent but not rampant.
2. Readjusted all unit costs down, but left building costs high.
3. Reduced building time on many buildings.
4. Moved a legion from Syria to Lugdunum.
5. Allowed the recruiting of some units for all factions in all regions (mostly lower end light infantry, auxilia, light cav. etc.)
6. Removed Greek_Cities from Massilia on both maps.
7. Romans can recruit Auxilia, Town Watch and Light Cav everywhere after reforms.
8. Renamed Armenian Leader and Heir, and a city.
9. Fixed the City Views on the Battlemap
10. Moved 'Hideen_resource' Italy to the southern two Italian regions, and Mediolanium and Patavium. You'll have to build an Imperial Palace in one of those four regions to trigger Marian Reforms.
11. Removed 'Roman Military Base'. Legions will now show up in 'Army Barracks' after reforms, and Imperials will show up in 'Royal Barracks' and 'Army Barracks' after reforms.
12. Readjusted the strength of the Free People (both). Their units are not so strong now, and their cities not so powerful. They shouldn't be wiping out factions anymore.
13. Fixed a couple ugly unit cards.
14. Added Numidian Cavalry to Carthage.
15. I'm providing another little batch file that will show up in your RTW folder called 'UI.bat' This will skip unpacking and repacking one of the .pak files that's unnecessary, and make the process shorter. You should run it to fix a few unit cards I added and replaced. It's minor, but if 'Peasant' cards show up for something, you'll know why?
EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to add, it will NOT be save game compatible.
