    Icon5 Recommended unit size for SSHIP?

    I'm about to start a new campaign with some house rules, and I couldn't find this topic here:

    What is the recommended unit size for SSHIP?
    • What would be the most historically accurate?
    • Is there any kind of upkeep difference in the campaign? I noticed that when I start the game as Poland with huge units, I make some +500 dn. more. This might make a significant difference with more units being recruited.
    • Is there a noticeable impact to population growth? I suppose huge units do slow it down but the numbers might be negligible.

    I always play huge.
    No difference for size, afaik.
    No impact on pop growth (this is Med2 engine, not RTW).
    You may have a look at few my houserules.
