    Icon9 MEDIEVAL 2 TOTAL WAR CRASHES WHEN STARTING OR LOADING A CAMPAIGN

    hello im a big fan of this game and i have been playing it a lot but lately i've been having an issue the game just crashes whenever i try to start a new campaign and it didn't used to do that. it worked perfectly for a long time and now all of the sudden it just refuses to work now and thats is worrying me here's a video of whats happening me

    a little extra detail is that sometimes the campaign map appears with the console open saying "Welcome to medieval 2" and also the menu displaying the controls that appears when you press F1

    Compatibility mode? Deleting the game's CFG file (in game's main folder) to generate a new one?
