    Default Ancient Rome 'Rise & Fall of an Empire' BBC series

    Has anyone seen this series? It was on the BBC last summer. I'm not sure if it's been shown in the USA or other countries yet though.

    It was really cool, I got the DVD series for Christmas and got round to watching them. My favourite was the episode on Nero, but they where all pretty cool. Other featured Romans are Caesar, Vespasian and Titus, Constantine and Tiberius Gracchus of the republic.

    Michael Sheen was pretty outstanding as Nero, someone made this on youtube which can give a bit of a gist. (Don't worry, Stiltskin doesnt actually feature in the series!)

    Yeah I was pretty impressed with it, although I read the accompanying book before I'd seen the TV series and obviously the book has far more information in it. So yeah, TV series is good but I highly recommend reading the book along with it.
