Im back after a some months away from modding due to work, not away exactly tho as ive revamped Mulhorand roster that was the first i made and it was a bit outdated, i think im better at modelling now so i decided to change some meshes and textures so here it is the outcome

Awesome new models as always man! Hopefully all will be in the game!

So what's up? Will the update ever be released that where pretty advanced with at least 4 new factions?

I had contributed with one faction and WarcraftHero with 3 - then Vladdyvid had done some stuff such as balancing, unit-cards and such.

That release could be released at any time really. But only Vladyvidd has it - I have a more outdated build with all the new factions, but none of his balancing and UI stuff.

He really needs to release it as it's already a vast improvement over the release.

I still need to contribute those strat-models.

By the way, your new female models look mostly great - I would criticize some as being too wide or too fat. But most of them look awesome. I did always like "Egyptian Cleopatra" styled models.

yeah ty, some of them look wider coz i have to match the body with vanilla skeleton, i cant mod the shape of the skeletons yet, gotta look into it later on to adjust some big/short races that r human size still

Yes, I know that he has the latest and most up-to-date WIP- he essentially got my WIP and WarcraftHero's WIP where four or five new rosters had been coded/implemented into the mod and then improved it further with his own models, UI-improvements, unit cards, balance and such.

So Vlad still has the latest WIP and in order to get that version of the mod he needs to come back.

However, I did post a link over on the Faerun developer's Group just now, to my own WIP that is slightly more outdated than his version, but still has all of your rosters minus the creatures of the Thayan Nation.

I will still need to implement those creatures which consisted of half the faction, a faction of about 30 models.

Bantu Chieftain is willing to aid with this mod, he rigged 80% of the Warcraft: Total War models- he could probably tell you about how he rigged the Warcraft: Total War monsters on the Warhammer/Hyrule custom-made animations for the units. You will have those Spinxes and griffons flying instead of being regular cav.

You're doing awesome work in this forum, all your models are some of the best I've seen in any mod- and any dwarven/human unit can easily use Third Age anims - it's just the monsters that really need Warhammer animations! Your models are all gorgeous and look way better than some of the older models - I particularly like the horses and knights of Damara, the Dwarves and such.

So the Egyptian-styled models also look great and for female models I'd also look at Warhammer/Hyrule as they have a bunch of female models (in Hyrule there are entire factions of female models), so in essence they should probably fit those better. I would seriously recommend looking at Hyrule Total War: Classic Ultimate for female models. Your model looks great but yeah it's true it's using a male-skeleton. But maybe the models in other mods have the regular skeleton too. I do know for certain that the monsters have custom animations so they would actually fly around with their wings moving and they'd move up and down.

So Bantu Chieftain tried to contact Vlad at moddb which I saw when I looked at the page, and I wrote to him about the current situation and about my role in 2020/2021 in regards to Faerun.

He is most likely willing to join you in model-creation and or rigging- I can still do the coding, cards etc - but one thing I liked that Bantu did when we modded Warcraft was that he left clear instructions on what animations to use for every model. And I would strongly recommend re-rigging any monster with wings or giant on the Warhammer/Hyrule animations - he can tell you about how he did it if there is an issue. Cause he rigged all the monsters in Warcraft: Total War on Hyrule and Warhammer anims.
