If it's any consolation, my sources indicate that CA has paired up with Paradox. The OP is not complete: the campaign will include will be a baffling blend of actual undocumented levers and switches with success chances to control the campaign map. It is planned to launch with 13 day 1 DLCs, and the Blood and Gore mod has been replaced with a naughty texture pack that shows you naked polygons. I hear it's gotten along rather well, they just haven't gotten that last one to get by the censors.
