Default Mods to go with ToB

Picked up ToB from steam summer sale after long binge on anglo-saxon/viking history videos, now I'm trying to figure out which mods to use. Shieldwall seems to be to most promising and historically accurate mod, but it's still at development. The others here on Twc look like they are abandoned (Crucible of Kings might not be?).

From steam workshop I found the Radious Total War mod for ToB which looks good but is from my understanding a vanilla + mod. Kinda surprised how few overhaul mods there are tbh. Any recommendations?

I know no other mod than the Shieldwall that would merit recommendation. Northumbria (or Lothian? don' remember the name) seems quite ready atm.
Mod leader of the SSHIP: traits, ancillaries, scripts, buildings, geography, economy.

If you want to play a historical mod in the medieval setting the best are:
Stainless Steel Historical Improvement Project and Broken Crescent.
Recently, Tsardoms and TGC look also very good. Read my opinions on the other mods here.

Reviews of the mods (all made in 2018): SSHIP, Wrath of the Norsemen, Broken Crescent.
Follow home rules for playing a game without exploiting the M2TW engine deficiencies.
Hints for Medieval 2 moders: forts, merchants, AT-NGB bug, trade fleets.
Thrones of Britannia: review, opinion on the battles, ideas for modding. Shieldwall is promising!
Dominant strategy in Rome2, Attila, ToB and Troy: “Sniping groups of armies”. Still there, alas!

Right that's what it seemed like thanks for confirming. I found some minor mods to go with the Radious mod from steam workshop, just started as East Anglia and it looks pretty good. Prob gonna save the Shieldwall for later on when it's more finished.

Unlimited Governors. No Estates penalty. More loyalty. There’s more I can’t think of right now.
