    Default strange lukupmap issue

    Hi,

Made some changes to the Viking campaign lukupmap and ran into a strange problem. The map is fully functional but the border line between some provinces look jagged and sloppy. I made no changes to this part of the map. I've attached pictures of vanilla and the map I tinkered with.

I used ultimate paint and saved as 256 color with fast pallet checked.

Anyone have any idea what could have caused this?

    Thanks

My guess would be that it is a formatting-issue, probably due to some wonky Ultimate Paint stuff. Personally, I don't have a lot of faith in ultimate paint and whenever I did something in MTW, I would deliberately stay away from that program (as I did not like the results), in favor of others. That said, MTW has always been rather moody when it comes to these kinds of files. Try some other program. Try Irfanview, it might work (provided you save the original formatting). As I write this, I have forgotten the names of the few programs that did work for certain on this kind of stuff.

Maybe someone else out there remember their names?

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give them a try.

Good to know there are still people on MTW I.
