Has anyone built some forts? Cause if you did, and didnt leave a gen inside, the fort would disappear, with all units insidea huge bug of EOP...
I suppose Merg should address this by some rule

Yeah, this was just discovered unfortunately.
If you all don't mind, I'll make a rule that forts must have a general inside of them. Considering that 1: In these types of HS this is common sense due to possible bribes and 2: you really cannot have forts without generals anyway with this issue existing, the rule shouldn't make a difference. Its self policing too, if somebody breaks it then the penalty will be the dissapearance of the fort, lol

Jaime walks again.
Joffrey up
Black Walter Frey received messages that the majority of the Lannister forces fled southwards leaving a rear guard to hold [pfah] Riverrun in their absence, but the Stark army crossed the river and laid siege to the great castle, with obvious results being sure to follow. Following the conference that followed , the frey army followed the starks, backing them up, securing their rear as they prepared siege equipment to retake the tully castle.
------------
Back in the north, the frey diplomat looked up at the grey and forbidding castle of winterfell, where he had been sent to maintain good relations with the Stark family, in that cold and inhospitable place . The chill in the air was substantial and he pulled his cloak ever tighter keeping it close, hoping to keep that bitter wind out, that seemed to drain all men's reserve that the cold seemed to bring. As he passed under the gates and moved into the old castle, he remembered all those old stories that had been told about its walls and the history of the north, and the horrors or fantasy tales of that was beyond the wall.

I, too, have decided to change some rules, but I went a different way then Jadli. Please give your thoughts here on whether you have any issues with it, because I only want to change if there is no opposition to it.. (context: the situation in the Art of War hotseat, those who don't know about it are free to write me for clarification)
"Battles of players vs player will be fought online, UNLESS the defender or admin decides that there is no point in fighting the battle online. Then it may be autoresolved (no manual battles)"
Rule changed to: Battles of players vs player will be fought online, UNLESS the defender AND attacker decides that there is no point in fighting the battle online. Then it may be autoresolved (no manual battles). The admin may decide to interfere if they feel that a player is just wasting the time of the other.
--> I decided to phrase the rules this way, because it allows for killing important generals even with overwhelming odds. It also eliminates any situation where the defender can abuse declining the battle for some advantage, because the attacker may prevent it. The only drawback is that there is a possibility that some more battles may be played, but I trust that players are understanding with each other.
Other rule change copied from Jadli's post:
Battle rules
- It is not allowed to use any game bugs or exploits! Including the cavalry bugs when you order cavalry to push through enemy units while secondary weapon is selected, OR giving the cav an order to attack an enemy unit next to the one it attacked initially, while the cavalry is locked in a melee. Use the cavalry the way its supposed to, i.e., charge, fall back, and then charge again. (all other bugs/exploits banned as well)
- No camping by the red line. A proper distance for defensive formation is considered when the red line is farther than the range of your archers.
- If there are reinformences arriving at the battle (starting behind the red line), it is forbidden for the enemy to deploy (some of) their units in such a way that they would immediately attack the reinformencing army or shoot at them, while the army is crossing the red line. The reinformencing army first has to be allowed to fully deploy itself to the battlefield before it can be attacked. The enemy should therefore deploy its starting units at least two times the distance given by the red line rule above.
Time limits
- Everyone willing to participate in the battle should post their free time slots as detailed, including more more than 2 days ahead if possible. Please, start the procedure of initiating the battle at the earliest opportunity, i.e., when you first see the save, not when it has been your turn for two days already.
- Attacker should not initiate an online battle if the (s)he is not able to play the battle within the two days window, and doesnt have anyone to sub the battle for him. If the defender cant play within two days window, he will be subbed. Both, the attacker and defender must denote their free schedule for the upcomming 2 days as soon as possible. If in the upcoming 2 days both the attacker and defender can play, but neither of them in the same time as the other one, then the battle will be played with the one who can play at the earliest opportunity. (in special cases, the admin may grant a longer time window) [my own addition]
- If the battle fails to be played within the two days, then it will be played at the earliest opportunity with any player available, no matter if attacker or defender can participate. (unless it is decided to avoid the battle altogether)
