I think it will bring imbalance. On the contrary, it is necessary to take the most distant factions, whose interests have not yet been affected in any way.

TBH, in most Westeros hotseats the Lannisters and Joffrey/Baratheons were were merged under the same player initially as well. We are playing by the lore rules (unlike in AoW), so this is not about who is distant, but who has the same lore goals....

BTW, forgot to mention in my posts before, while everyone plays 500 for generals on ships, it was decided that Greyjoy plays only 250, to not take awayy his naval advantage (and because Grejoy faction is very small, therefore almost all its units are just generals)

although the players are in an alliance, they are in a fixed alliance only up to a certain point, and they also have the opportunity to pursue different policies at the same time. If these factions are merged into one, then it seems to me that the campaign may suffer from this.

BTW, I forgot to mention, as we are now starting on turn 1 (not turn 2 like we were supposed to initially), the recruitment pools are not initialized yet, hence you dont see any available units (and also freeupkeep). But worry not, it all works correctly from the second turn (skips turns to see, or check in SP)

Amongst a few things, this update allows us to see the impact of having generals in foreign lands/on ships and can help us calculate our profit/loss a little easier each turn!

It should not affect the HS so far, but I would advise that we all download it and extract it in our WTW folders so we're all on the same page.

Indeed, it shows you the overview of army upkeep like this (if you click financial overview)

You should all use the files, as when we do, it will also show you history of the army upkeep from previous turns for your faction

unpack in modfolder with replacement of all files. It's just a new version of m2tweop along with a script to display the maintenance thing.

Walder Frey sat at his chair, the gout stopping him from standing, as he warmed his hands at the open flames of the fire taking comfort in the flickering licks of flame, that danced around the burning wood&coal that had been filled in the fireplace. His balding head , cloudy eyes and pronounced chin made him look like a elderly weasel, as he constantly rubbed his hands at the fire ever trying to keep his blood waming and the door to the room burst open with one of his sons, eager to provide his father with the latest news. Walder made him wait, let him know his place, he thought ,as he rubbed his hands once more, then one hand to wipe one of his eyes, as the smoke caught his bad eye, before he turned to hear the news....

"Lord Frey....it seems we have a message from House Tully, asking for support, they are under attack from the Lannisters and he asks for aid....", he said , passing the small paper message which had been attached to the messenger pigeon.

Walder squinted at the message and pasted it back to his son asking him to read it to him , as he closed his eyes as the words rang out, and thought....ever thinking , whilst confined to the damned chair , not able to move much these days in his ninetieth year with the gout infecting his legs....but ninety was a prestigious year to have in this age of men, and Walder did'nt reach it by acting rashly , nor sometimes by acting at all. After some while after the message had finished being read , Walder sat in silence, and then after a few moments , he asked his son to pass the paper message back to him , slapping him at his lack of speed at doing so, before chucking the note in the fire.

"That message didnt arrive",he said, looking pointedly at his son,"The message was garbled....ask Tully to send another", Walder mused, as he sat back in his chair.

"More news , Sire, rumours are that the Ironborn sail for tully lands....", said the son, and Walder closed his eyes once more, considering the injustice and hurt honour that Hoster Tully did him , in refusing a Frey Bride, and likewise Tywin Lannister who spoke out against marrying his son, to Tytos's lannisters daughter , he smiled in appreciation , at the mess that was happening. Let all his bitterness showing at all sides , to both lannister, tullies at the hand of the ironborn....it meant little to him and in the chaos that followed ..perhaps , just perhaps there might be a advantage for himself and his house.....he smiled in happiness at such a thought,and a small bit of dribble came out of the side of his mouth, but the son did'nt mention it,as walder wiped it away with his sleeve.

"..and lastly, Rob Stark approaches from the north with a great host at his back , wishing passage to the south to attack the lannisters, what shall we do , Lord?"

Walder Frey sat up straight at the remark and began to push his hands towards the fire, the wheels in his mind began to move, seeing perhaps the best way his house could benefit from such a arrangement, it took several minutes of silence, the son, had to stop himself from touching the old man , so still had he become, wondering if he had passed in this moment, when finally the old man stirred.

"Summon my bannermen!", said Walder , "This matter will need all of our attention, for it seems matters of the great houses are at play.....and when they play, frey can reap some portion of the spoils"
